We first opened our doors on the Lijnbaansgracht in 1907 as a traditional coffee house for  every 'Amsterdammer'. While the city around us has changed over the years, one thing has always remained the same: a place where people come together for a good cup of coffee, a delicious meal and a warm welcome.

 

Today, the fifth generation of the Haagedoorn family is at the helm. With respect for our rich history and a love for hospitality, we continue the story of Lunch Café De Spiegel every day: an Amsterdam café in the city centre where locals and visitors alike can feel at home.
